Jewish Martyr’s Square
On Oct. 11, 1999, under the initiative of the Mayor of Athens and the unanimous decision of the city council, the square at the junction of Adrianou and Apostle Paul Streets in Thissio was officially named the “Jewish Martyr’s Square”.

Jewish Museum of Greece
The Jewish Museum of Greece was founded in 1977 with the aim of collecting, studying, preserving, and exhibiting the material evidence of 2,500 years of Jewish life in Greece. The collection includes more than 10,000 rare artifacts of great historical significance and reflects the life, customs, history and traditions of the Greek Jews. The museum has a rich library and photographic archive and has contributed significantly to the study and preservation of Jewish tradition in Greece; the collection is continuously enriched and updated.

Restion Elderly Care Center
The “Welfare Institution of the Jews of Athens” was founded in November of 1995. The Institution, with the support of “Claims Conference” and private benefactors, and under the auspices of the Jewish Community of Athens, succeeded in establishing the “Restion, Elderly Care Center ” which opened its doors on January 2006. The Center has 67 rooms (12 double rooms and 55 single rooms), high standard facilities, and an active team of doctors, nurses, social worker, psychologist, physical therapist, nursing assistant, cook, dietician and cleaning staff.
